Protecting our green environment is not just a step that we need to implement, but a major necessity that we all need to realize. Nevertheless, this year on the next Earth Day i.e. 22nd April, 2010 let's follow simple steps, gift others best green gift and make them all aware about our green planet and help in conserving it. Here are few best steps that you can take:
1. Try to develop green environment awareness among your family members, friends, locally as well as globally.
2. You may even join a local environmental group in your area. In case, you are not able to join, make sure to promote environment-friendly programs.
3. You may even plant a tree or any plant in your backyard. Planting a tree in your backyard can never be w wrong idea as plants help in consuming carbon dioxide and produce oxygen we need.
4. Make sure you segregate biodegradable and non-biodegradable garbage in separate container.
5. Moreover, try to recycle non-biodegradable stuff in your house like plastic container or bags etc.
6. Minimize the usage of motor cars that majorly uses fossil fuel such as natural gas, crude oil and petroleum gas.
7. Conserve water and electricity, if they’re using fossil fuel.
8. Get into the habit of practicing car pooling for vehicles that use fossil fuel. In fact, if possible make an arrangement along with your neighbors to use cars alternately for going to and coming from office. This could save the fuel in best possible manner.
9. Avoid wasting papers or printing, if not necessary. Papers are made from trees.
10. Try to make use of plastic products instead of wood for building houses, offices, and other structures.
11. Work at home and make money with earth-friendly money making ideas.
